Earlier this week, we noted the rise of luxe brands in the Westfield Valley Fair mall in Santa Clara. But that didn't mean we weren't surprised to hear from one sleuthing reader that CH Carolina Herrera is slated to open in a space vacated by Banana Republic on the mall's first floor, across from Cartier and next to Tiffany & Co. It's especially curious since the brand only recently opened its very first SF location in Union Square. But perhaps the NYC-based brand is taking cues from Uniqlo and giving centralized expansion a try.
