When Meg Galligan opened her Union Street jewelry store Margaret Elizabeth late last year, she added a touch of personal styling to her growing brand. Customers could walk in and ask her for advice on what to buy and how to wear the colorful accessories. Galligan's own sartorial choices also serve as inspiration, as evidenced by a recent photo shoot, showcasing her fashion, designing, and interior decorating decisions.
"When I think about S.F. style, I immediately think about how layered every outfit has to be because of the ever-changing weather," Galligan tells R29. "This makes designing pieces in San Francisco really fun because I love the look of mixing, matching, and layering textures and looks." To gain her tips on her current favorite outfits that pair exceptionally well with her bold and vibrant baubles (plus her adorable baby bump), be sure to click through the photos here.
