A 10-month dispute between Paolo Shoes and landlord Webco Group LLC over a spike in rent is finally settled. Store owner Paolo Iantorno is relieved that after 10 years at the corner of Fillmore and Pine—and 15 years in the neighborhood—he won't have to relocate. He will, however, be paying double his previous rent price at $10,000 per month for the first year and $10,500 per month for the year after. Iantorno owns two other stores in Hayes Valley—another Paolo Shoes at 524 Hayes and Duke et Duchess, a clothing and accessories shop for men and women at 528 Hayes.
