This Tuesday and Wednesday, July 15 and 16, look for Dwayne "The Rock'' Johnson, Kylie Minogue, and Alexandra Daddario roaming the streets, eating in the restaurants and shopping the boutiques of San Francisco as they film an earthquake movie called San Andreas. Yay, right? Exciting? Wrong. SF merchants are 'flipping out,' according to SFist, because Jefferson Street at Fisherman's Warf will be closed for two days.

The problem was that merchants were given only a week's notice, the permits weren't yet finalized when the leafletting started, plus it's their peak shopping season, as C.W. Nevius writes at SF Gate. But... The Rock! Kylie Minogue. Hopefully they'll buy something expensive from the disgruntled merchants while they're in town. Also look for the crew and up to 400 extras again at the end of the month on Hyde Street in Russian Hill on July 22 and possibly July 25.
