Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
If you've ever stared longingly into The Mason Jar on Union Street and wondered, "Why can't I just add curtains and move in here with all these pretty things," we have good news: You can now enlist owner Hope Colling to transform your blah, beige apartment into a chic SF rad pad. While sharing tidbits about her personal style and favorite spots in San Francisco with 7x7 this week, Colling mentioned that The Mason Jar has just started offering design services!
According to the shop's website, Colling can help you spruce up your home with space planning, styling, and (obviously) shopping. If you're dying to update your place with a little North African flair, you'll want to contact Hope pronto. She's about to embark on a textile-buying trip to Morocco, so you might be able to persuade her to add a new rug or light fixture for your place to her bazaar shopping list.
