The Café Coton boutique quietly exited its charming, Grant Avenue location early last month with nary a parting word in advance. And it didn't just happen here in SF—the French brand has pulled out of all of its USA locations and has shut down its American ecommerce site. The European/Australian site is still in operation, and all products are 50% off. But that's the same omen that came before the store closings. So if your (or your man's) wardrobe depends on Café Coton's fitted button-ups and silk ties then order now, if you can stomach the overseas shipping fee. Or take your chances and wait until your next European vacation because Café Coton is officially exotic—très chic!
