The era of self-documentation just got a little sweatier with news that PumpUp, a fitness-oriented social network, has raised $2.4 million in seed funding. VentureBeat reports that the Toronto and San Francisco-based app already has 1.7 million users who share photos, track their progress toward fitness goals, and encourage one another.
