Next Saturday, August 2, must be an auspicious day, given that it's the chosen date for two hot skate/street wear brands to open their doors on Haight Street. San Jose-based, Hawaiian-inspired Cukui will open at 1439 Haight Street with exclusive designs made specifically for its SF location. Down the street, Diamond Supply Co. will offer its clothing, accessories, and skateboard equipment at 1560 Haight. Also in the immediate area are Pink Dolphin, RVCA, and True—all helping to make that elusive parking spot well worth the time spent.
