Waxing is unpleasant, and it's hard to get motivated to traipse across town for a brow or bikini cleanup. But if distance is the only thing standing between you and hair removal, you might need a new reason to put off that appointment: Stript Wax Bar —one of our favorite bikini wax spots in SF— has just opened up two new Bay Area locations in Noe Valley and Pacifica.
Noe Valley SF reports that the Noe Stript is open in the former Church Nails space at 1211 Church Street, near the 24th and Church Muni stops. (Both the J and the 48 will drop you off within 100 feet of the front door.) Hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Depending on your work schedule, you could squeeze in an appointment either before or after you hit the office.
You may not be able to swing by the new Pacifica outpost (5450 Coast Highway) before work, but you can easily pop by on your way home. The Pacifica salon is open from 10 am-9 pm on Monday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday.
The new Stript locations may have just undermined your attempts at procrastination, but at least staffers will offer you a pre-treatment glass of champagne to dull the pain.
