Pop Physique will open the doors to its long-awaited studio in the Mission on Friday, August 1. The new location (2744 Mission Street) features two ballet-barre studios, showers, a retail boutique and the a selfie room. (You know. Standard gym stuff.)
Though this barre-fusion workout got its start in L.A., the founders are originally from San Francisco. That means this weekend will be a homecoming of sorts for Pop Physique Creator Jennifer Williams, who will teach the opening night class on Friday at 7 p.m. Festivities will continue with a week of free classes, and the company will be offering an extended New Client Special (40 days of unlimited classes for $100) to "Pop Virgins." Pop Physique's already a hit with residents of Russian Hill. We'll find out this weekend if the Mission loves it, too.
