Madison Reed launched a new service today that brings the salon experience directly to you. It's called the Color To You program and it matches you with a licensed hair stylist to apply the beauty startup's salon-quality hair dye to your hair, all in the comfort of your own home. The service even ends with a blowout. Price: $99 dollars—a real steal if the end product matches your salon's.
"When we created Madison Reed, we stood in 50 women's bathrooms and watched them self-color their hair, noting the pain points in the application process and brainstorming how we can fix them," Amy Errett, CEO and Co-Founder of Madison Reed, tells us. "Today, we're introducing Color To You to help women master hair coloring with an expert on-hand to guide them through the process." The new service is currently only available to the Bay Area. If you want to learn more about quality of color and professional application without committing to a purchase, stop by the beauty startup's booth at this Saturday's 20th Street Block Party from noon to 6 p.m. to demo the product.
