Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Welcome to Racked SF's search for San Francisco's hottest trainer. Over the coming weeks, we'll profile sixteen smoking hot candidates who work at local gyms and studios. Then, once you've gotten to know everyone, we'll host a March Madness-style showdown in which you get to vote for your favorite. Let the games begin!

Which hottie gets your vote?
It's sixteen contestants later, and we're ready to begin voting for Racked SF's Hottest Trainer. We're separating our contestants by gender and starting things off with all of the guys. Tomorrow we'll open up a separate poll for the women, and the winners from the two polls will square off next week in a final battle of the sexes.
In case you forgot, our male contestants are (in alphabetical order by first name) Alex Ho of Basic Training, Blake Harrison of Fitmob; Chris Reid of Barry's Bootcamp, John Taylor of SoulCycle, Johnny Gilbo of DIAKADI, Michael Wilbert of Coastal Fit, Ryan Allen of DIAKADI, and Tommy Tessier of Barry's Bootcamp.
Click through the gallery above to refresh your memory on each male trainer—and get an extra jolt of eyecandy. The poll will close in 48 hours, so you only have until noon on Saturday to vote for San Francisco's hottest male trainer!
Update: We have a winner! Congratulations to Blake Harrison of FitMob!
