MISSION—Tea With Strangers is getting into the birthday biz this weekend with —you guessed it— birthdays with strangers. If your birthday falls between June and September (and you'll be in town for Labor Day weekend), head over to Dolores Park from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, August 30 for a BYO Strangers fete. The event is free, but you have to RSVP on the Tea with Strangers site to announce what you're bringing. [Tea With Strangers]

HEALDSBURG— Mercantile Shop is open for the last weekend of August before closing its brick and mortar doors forever. Hours this week are Monday and Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the party ends, and Thursday through Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.-ish. So [Facebook]
