San Francisco's Timbuk2 has rocking the messenger bag biz for 25 years. The company —best known for its bike-friendly carryalls— describes the people behind the brand as "young and young-at-heart, long and lean, short and stocky, US citizens, legal aliens, college athletes, tri-athletes, mathletes, yoga instructors, skaters, skiiers, climbers, trekers, cyclists, drummers, drama queens, Steady Eddys, new mothers, seasoned fathers, dog whisperers, cat people, bull farmers, egg collectors, urban gardeners, pescatarians, vegetarians, yogurt-makers, lactards, carnivores, globe trotters, locals boys, photographers, painters, authors, Burners, prepsters, fashionistas, and one Ironman."
We wanted to find out how such a varied group approaches fashion, so we dropped by the company's Mission headquarters for answers. From Miu Miu boots to the watch that got away, Timbuk2 staffers' styles prove that California casual is anything but boring.

"A pair of tan, mid-calf Frye boots from a thrift store in Bucktown, Chicago."

Noel Kopp – Social Media Manager is wearing a Betabrand bike commute reflective shirt, Levis Commuters, Vans, and a Mondaine Swiss Railway Watch
What fashion rule do you shamelessly break?

What item did you pass on that you wish you could go back in time and purchase?
"This <a href="http://www.qlocktwo.com/info_w.php?lang=en">ridiculous watch</a>; I'm still thinking about it."

What have you learned at Timbuk2 that you never would have otherwise?

What fashion rule do you shamelessly break?

What have you learned at Timbuk2 that you never would have otherwise?
"How vast the offering of stylish clothing for cycling or bike commuting is out there."
Holly Cann – Operations Manager is wearing Miu Miu boots, Hudson waxed denim skinny jeans, and a Zara linen tank.
Which trend do you really like, and which would you never be caught dead trying?
"I have a love hate relationship with trends. I'm pretty set in my uniform and generally love trends on other people, but most of the time not on me. If I give in to a trend it’s usually an accessory or beauty trend. I loved when a statement manicure was the thing, and I am obsessed with statement jewelry. I love the crop top trend but my mid-drift hates me. And I’m still undecided how I feel about the return of Birkenstocks."
What fashion rule do you shamelessly break?
"Not sure this is a fashion rule but definitely a fashion faux pas on certain occasions. I will wear destroyed denim as much as humanly possible. If my jeans don't have a a rip, tear, hole or a little fringe, I'm not happy."
