It's not too often that an unofficial tip from a construction worker rings true. But in the case of Welcome Stranger's expansion into the East Bay, it was right on point. The store's second location at 2633 Ashby Avenue in Berkeley quietly opened its doors this past Sunday, promising that more stock was on the way. And now that it's been a few days, chances are high that you'll find all the goodies you see online in the store.
