Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
So you like working out at all the posh studios in San Francisco, but your wallet feels uneasy about those pricey drop-in fees? No worries. We've got a tip to help you save some of that hard-earned cash. ClassPass, a monthly service that offers you 10 killer workouts for only $99, has finally come to San Francisco.
Our Racked sister sites have been raving that this service is the ultimate gym membership: You can book all of your classes directly through the ClassPass site, and use your membership to visit any of their top-notch partner studios —we're talking BodyRok, Cardio Barre, and the TRX Training Center, just to name a few— up to three times during a given month. The ClassPass team hooked us up with a free trial membership to test the service, and it couldn't be easier. If you like to bounce between boutique studios, this is the way to do it. Just be warned: You should sign up before word spreads around town. We hear from Racked LA that there was actually a SoCal waitlist for ClassPass membership.
