Handmade Events, the company bringing you tonight's Le Diner white party extravaganza, is getting into the elopement planning business with a new venture called PopUp Weddings. Yes, we know that people elope to avoid planning, but this is more of a surprise wedding than a Vegas-style elopement. And that's not such a bad idea when you think about it. After all Britney had a surprise wedding to K. Fed Mark Zuckerberg did it.

The company is offering an elopement package for up to 50 guests and a pop-up wedding package for up 100 guests. Both packages include coordination for venue, catering, cake, photography, flowers, and rentals. PopUp Weddings founder Cayleigh Hopkins tells us that they can plan a wedding in as little as a month, but warns that some locations in San Francisco —like the Music Concourse in Golden Gate Park— require additional time for permit processing.
