Thanks to Lisa Simpson's 1993 Valentine's Day debacle, we can't even think about buying a new pair of Jimmy Choos without uttering the phrase, "I choo-choo-choose you." It's part of the fun of buying the uber-chic shoes. And now the luxe brand is presenting San Francisco shoppers a plethora of new choices for their feet with the Jimmy Choo Made to Order program.
Sandra Choi, the company's creative director, has selected her favorite Jimmy Choo styles —Anouk, Lance, Xenia, and Tite— and is giving clients the chance to pick their favorite colors, textures, finishes, heel heights, and customized soles. (A company rep tells us that the Anouk has been the most popular in San Francisco so far.) The Jimmy Choo store in Union Square is one of the few locations in the U.S. to offer the MTO option, so scamper over today to create your dream Choos.
