Mother Mag visited Mollusk Surf Shop owner and working mom Johanna St. Clair for an in-depth look at how motherhood and store ownership go hand in hand. Johanna signed the lease for Mollusk with her husband, John, when their daughter was only a few weeks old. Nine years later, the store has three locations —the newest shop opened last month in LA's Silverlake— and Johanna and her family live near the original store in Outer Sunset. You'll frequently spot Johanna in and around the shop on Irving Street wearing APC jeans, Keds, and a white Mollusk tee.
