The hoodie is a polarizing garment. Is it convenient layer or an admission of hopelessness? The answer, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. But for those who aren't whole-heartedly oppose to hoodies, Taylor Stitch is on a mission to make a more sophisticated version. Their take, the indigo three-button hooded sweatshirt, is designed to be worn over an oxford, but could just as easily top a t-shirt. Available in a mid-weight french terry, it's the kind of hoodie you can wear year-round in San Francisco. The company says, "We're not saying you could replace your blazer with this thing, but we are warning you that it will make all your other hoodies seem a bit childish." Customers seem to agree. The $98 sweatshirt is already sold out online in most sizes. If you want your own —small and extra-small only— you need to act soon.
