Opening Ceremony has plans to open stores in Chicago, Boston, and —wait for it— San Francisco! In a recent interview with the LA Times, store owners Carol Lim and Humberto Leon said that the new expansions will likely house the Opening Ceremony collections exclusively, unlike the LA and NYC showrooms that highlight a diverse range of designers from around the world. But don't think that means the stores will lack options. "There are categories we're expanding so the collection can stand on its own," Leon tells LAT. "We're doing sunglasses and denim and relaunching kids. And down the line, there's beauty." It's a busy road ahead for the brand and its founders, and we'll be sure to update you with exact dates when SF can expect its very own OC outpost.
