The Goorin Bros Sale Has Fedoras Galore

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Goorin Bros. knows how to run a sample sale. When we stopped by the brand's headquarters at 1269 Howard Street around 11:45, staffers were helping customers make their selections and quickly returning unwanted hats to the shelves. The sale was just as calm and well-stocked as the company's last sale in June, but employers weren't so sure about daily restocks that weekend shoppers enjoyed at the summer sale. The salesperson we spoke with said there was another box or two of hats that could be added, but indicated that most of the stock was already out.

Prices start at $10 for baseball caps and cadets, $15 for flatcaps and ivys, and $20 for cloches, floppies, and fedoras. The sale will be open until 6 p.m. today, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
