OAKLAND— Get in a gondola tomorrow, September 4, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. with a celebration of Oakland radness at Lake Merritt (1520 Lakeside Drive). Gondola Servizio and Lake Chalet are hosting a book signing for This Is Oakland and a Pic Oakland Instagram contest, complete with totally normal things like gondola rides on Lake Merritt. FORT MASON— Brit + Co's ReMake conference and festival are next week at the Fort Mason Festival Pavillion. The conference will be Friday, September 12 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. To request an invitation to the conference, you'll have to fill out this form. The maker shopping festival on Saturday, September 13 will run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is free, but you'll have to RSVP. [Brit+Co]
