Westfield San Francisco Centre and Westfield Valley Fair announced this morning that they have added phone charging stations throughout both malls. You know what that means, right? Women might finally stop camping in the Bloomingdales and Nordstrom lounges with their phones tethered to the wall.

According to a rep for the malls, BrightBox Charging Stations are available for free at three central locations in both shopping centers. There is a four-step on-screen process to get going, and the stations charge 95 percent of all phones, including iPhone 5 and 6, older iPhone models, Android, Blackberry and Windows. There's also a secure door to lock your phone up while it charges, but we don't foresee too many people actually abandoning their phones. A shopping trip hardly counts if it goes undocumented on Instagram.
