Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Trevor Traina's philanthropic/luxury organization, IfOnly, has impressive experiences lined up for Fashion Week —think quality time with Oscar de la Renta, Diane von Furstenberg, and Prabal Gurung— but two of San Francisco's designers of the moment were noticeably absent from the experiential lineup. What about those of us who want to hit House of Air with Alexander Wang or grab dinner at Zuni with Derek Lam? "Give us time," Traina says. "We are working on those and many other incredible experiences to come. In the interim, lots of our business comes from people emailing us with special requests."

Okay, so Trevor is trying to make our IfOnly dreams come true, but we were curious to find out what he considers to be the ultimate fashion experience right here in San Francisco.

Traina tells us, "I would drop by the de Young with a designer for a private viewing of the textile collection which is probably second only to the Met's, and then I would hope to run through the upcoming Keith Haring show. Then I would run across to the Academy for some dim sum and maybe an earthquake in the exhibit."

If Trevor's day at the de Young sounds like the perfect day to you, try contacting the IfOnly concierge to make it happen. And if you're more interested in hanging with Oscar or Diane in New York, check out the current fashion listings on the site.
