Dogpatch shopping will gain a solid shopping option next month when Spicer Bags opens in the American Industrial Center on 3rd Street, just a few blocks away from Rickshaw and Modern Appealing Clothing. It will be the SF-based brand's first storefront.
"A store like ours has been needed in the Dogpatch for years, since there is currently only a liquor store and Workshop SF, which sells some products but mostly art," Spicer Bags tells us. The store, called Spicer on Third, will feature the locally designed and manufactured bags and their eco-friendly materials.
Spicer on Third will also serve as a space for events and customer interactions that will influence future collections. To help further the brand's storefront project, support the Kickstarter campaign here. Want a sneak peek at what's to come? Stop by Sutton Cellars at 601 22nd Street this Thursday, September 11, starting at 5pm, for a glass of wine and a look at the upcoming store's collections. Bonus: Kickstarter supporters will receive a free heavy-duty canvas tote to take home following the evening of wine and good cheer.
