Twelve Academy of Art University designers presented at the school's New York Fashion Week presentation on Saturday, and we have all the looks from the show. The womenswear capsule collections by Die Zhou, Mia Jianxia Ji, Madison Detro, Szu Chi Huang, and Wei Bai focused on futuristic looks for spring, with layered textures and minimal color. The menswear collection —a collaborative effort by Asiyat Tsalikova, Max Lu, Liz Li, Jihyun Kim, Jingci Wang, Yin Yang, and Yaqiong Zhou— incorporated bold choices like wide-leg pants, postcard prints, and pastels. Are these looks the future of fashion? We'll have to wait for spring to find out.
