Today is National Hat Day, but San Francisco is taking it a further step by declaring January 15th Goorin Bros. Hat Day. Mayor Ed Lee made the official proclamation Wednesday; today, CEO Ben Goorin will host a party at the North Beach flagship store from 5-7pm. More reason to celebrate? This year marks the 120th anniversary for the company. So don that Goorin Bros. hat and head out to tonight's festivities. After Ben accepts the Certificate of Honor, complimentary champagne and live music will keep the party rolling.
