Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
The newest Bonobos Guideshop opened today at Santana Row. The 1,433 square-foot space—located along the main drag, between Lululemon and Paper Source—serves as an extension of the menswear brand's ecommerce business model. The store doesn't hold any stock for sale; instead, it's a place to try the clothes before taking the online-ordering plunge.
One visit decides your exact size, but each season's new collection warrants another trip to see the updated offerings in person. (Especially the upcoming Spring 2015 swimwear and muted Hawaiian print shirts). Bonobos welcomes drop-ins but highly recommends making an appointment to ensure zero wait time.
And grooms, there's a newly added Groomshop feature to all Bonobos locations. Coordinating outfits for a wedding? You can visit Santana Row while your buddies hit up one of the 13 different Guideshops scattered across the country. Or, make it a party and visit the same shop together. Once you experience the Guideshop —cold beer, included— you'll want to hang here on the regular.
