You've walked by the construction wall at 170 Geary for months. Perhaps you had abandoned hope that San Francisco's La Perla store was still happening. Don't despair: opening day is almost here, and it will be so worth the wait. The San Francisco store's interior —inspired by great Italian architecture— will reflect the company's new design direction. Standout details will include marble finishes, hand-painted wall coverings, gilded metal hangers, and backlit tulle paneling. There's even an extra-special space for VIPs.

A rep for the brand tells us that the store will open on February 10th, just in time for Valentine's Day. If you want to plan your must-have list now, start by browsing La Perla's online offerings. Come mid-February, you can enjoy a new level of luxury in lingerie shopping.
