Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Acoté opened the doors to its first American outpost last weekend. The new store at 597 Hayes Street features the colorfully-printed collections from French-brand Cotélac's younger, more casual sister line. Created in 2004, Acoté has built a line around timeless clothing that focuses on basics and simple cuts in special prints that speak to the free spirits. Lucky us— we're the first in the country to shop styles that cannot be found online. Hurry over for first dibs... and to further cultivate that effortless, French-chic style.
