Last year, local jewel box Fiat Lux pitted a handful of its shining design stars against one another in a black diamond ring design competition, and gave the winning ring to a lucky Fiat fan. This year, the shop is bringing the contest back, but with an entirely different challenge: Knives.
Shop faves Nick Potash, Lauren Wolf, Elizabeth Street, Digby & Iona, Daisy San Luis, Mother of Gideon, and (of course) the in-house team at Fiat Lux have come together to battle for best knife in the store's Annual Maker's Competition. Each knife is worth $1,250, and just like last year, someone wins the best knife in a February raffle.
There are two ways to enter. From February 11th to 13th, you can vote on which knife you think is best. Your vote gets you one free entry into the raffle. You can also earn a raffle ticket with your Fiat Lux purchases between now and February 13th. When you make a purchase on the site, you'll get one ticket for purchases over $50, two tickets from purchases between $150 and $400, and three tickets for purchases over $400. You can have a total 4 entries in the raffle.
The winners —both of the design showdown and the raffle— will be announced at the Fiat Lux annual party and trunk show on Friday, February 13th. Let's just hope this party doesn't get too rowdy. We hear there will be knives lying around.
