Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Luxury menswear brand Kiton will open its first San Francisco outpost in March 2015, an employee of the soon-to-open boutique tells us. The Italian-made collection is already available through local department stores like Neiman Marcus and Wilkes Bashford, but the Kiton store will provide easier access to expert in-house advice for custom orders. Prices may be steep, (a bespoke suit runs upward of $5,000), but everything is handmade in Kiton's private factories in Naples. There's no official confirmation just yet on the exact location —or if the store plans to carry the lesser known women's line— but we'll report back as soon as we hear from the head honchos in Italy. Until then, start saving— even the silk ties will set you back a cool $295.
