Want, need, have to have a massage but too
lazy busy to leave your pad, hotel or office? What on Earth do you think Soothe is for? The on-demand massage company/app, which recently began service in SF and the Bay Area, allows for same-day bookings and 60- , 90- , and 120-minute massages. Swedish, Deep Tissue or Sports rubs—your choice, same price ($99 to $169 including tip). Appointments can be booked every day of the week, 9am until midnight.
"Soothe brings the spa to you. Our trained and vetted therapists deliver spa-quality treatments—often within one hour's notice. Plus there's no parking or traffic, and when it's over, you are just steps away from a hot bath or your own bed," says founder Merlin Kauffman, who started the company after becoming disenchanted with the limited operating hours of traditional day spas and advance-notice booking requirements.
