38 MAKERS BY SFMADE + PINTEREST
Saturday, November 21st, 11am to 5pm @ Pinterest HQ
Not only do you get to shop homemade holiday gifts from local Bay Area makers, you get to do it in a real-life Pinterest Board, otherwise known as Pinterest's SoMa office. Think jewelry, accessories, chocolate and other gourmet-food items, beauty products, housewares, pet goodies and more. You'll probably recognize many of the 38 makers including: DODOCase, Etta + Billie, Future Glory, Heliotrope SF, Poco Dolce, Recchiuti Confections, Rickshaw Bagworks and Urban FarmGirls Garden Design. Feeling peckish? No prob—dig into some complimentary nibbles and hot cider. Note: A $5 cash donation at the door goes to help SFMade (a non-profit) to continue its support of local businesses. Pinterest is located at 580 7th Street.
RENEGADE CRAFT FAIR
Saturday and Sunday, November 21st and 22nd, 11am to 6pm @ Fort Mason
This beloved indie craft fair is going to have a few more than 38 makers...like 300 more. Now in its 13th year, Renegade Craft Fair is like a well-oiled maker machine where emerging and established artisans display their wares and welcome holiday shoppers. What you'll find? Jewelry, letterpress stationery, art prints, knitwear, leather goods, and so much more. Along with checking names off your gift list, you'll have the chance to indulge your inner crafter with various DIY workshops—succulent ornament making to designing your own paper. Throw in DJ tunes, artisan food and (adult) drink plus a photobooth and your weekend is officially made. Admission is free. Fort Mason Festival Pavilion is located at 2 Marina Blvd.
