Union Square’s Winter Walk Pops Up on Friday

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

It's baack! For the second year in a row, two blocks on Stockton Street (between Ellis and Geary) will become a pedestrian-only, family-friendly holiday pop-up. This year's Union Square Winter Walk—opening on Friday, November 27th and running through January 1, 2016—is sure to be even better and definitely a lot more local-y. Along with nightly entertainment (including Velocity Circus and musician Cynthia Lin) and light shows, Philz Coffee truck (get in the spirit with a minty Philharmonic or Tantalizing Turkish), Off the Grid food trucks, carolers and SF artists will be out in force.

Plus, a lot more fashion events are on tap. (Fab!) Highlights include free weekly makeup demos and a winter fashion show on Saturday, December 12th, both courtesy of Macy's. We're also beyond excited about Snoopy making himself available for selfies with you and your crew on December 11th and 18th.

Check out the full schedule of events.
