Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Things are getting seriously cheery around here...thanks to this week's lineup of holiday shopping events and trunk shows. Ready your giant sack and make the rounds.

Sip + Shop with Freda Salvador and Colleen Mauer: Wednesday, December 9th, 5pm to 8pm. Can we just say match made in (style) heaven? Two of our favorite local brands will be festive-ing over wine and treats. You'll be among the first to shop Freda Salvador's new resort collection (before the official launch) and get your jewelry fix with Colleen Mauer's trunk show. Prepare to stack on the rings, layer on the bangles and fall for fabulous flats. RSVP to info@fredasalvador.com. Freda Salvador is located at 2416 Fillmore Street.

Spicer on 3rd Holiday/Anniversary Party: Thursday, December 10th, 4pm to 9pm. The Dogpatch flagship is turning one and it's holiday season—time for a party. Spicer is celebrating with pop-ups from three artists: Urban Farm Girls (garden design), New Skool (kids clothing) and Coffee N Cream Press (letterpress). Shop Spicer Bags, fun stocking stuffers, foodie gifts, bath and body products, and more—€”all while munching on hors d'oeuvres and sipping on cocktails. Bonus: 10 percent of proceeds will be donated to the SF Marin Food Bank. The store is located at 2341 3rd Street.

Curve and Emily Holt Host Baja East Trunk Show: Friday, December 11th, 3pm to 6pm. Meet designers John Targon and Scott Studenberg of Baja East, recent CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund nominees, as they present their pre-fall collection (including exclusive items). A portion of the proceeds will go to the Tipping Point. The designers call their aesthetic "loose luxury," and the clothing blurs the lines between men's and women's style. Curve is located at 2360 Fillmore Street.

Everlane Holiday Shopping Event: Saturday, December 12th, 11am to 4pm. Hot toddies, mulled wine and a closeup look at new holiday arrivals are on the menu at Everlane's Mission HQ. Also on site: a calligrapher to write up your gift tags and gift-wrapping services. Some items will be available for one-hour delivery service. Everlane is located at 2170 Folsom Street.

Self Edge Good Art Trunk Show: Saturday and Sunday, December 12th and 13th. This weekend, the Mission's bastion of amazing Japanese selvedge denim Self Edge is hosting Good Art and founder/designer Josh Warner. You'll find the entire collection of luxury items, including jewelry, leather goods, silver army men (exactly what they sound like) and more. FYI: LeBron James and Jon Bon Jovi are among the famous fans of the 25-year-old label. Self Edge is located at 714Valencia Street. Saturday hours are noon to 7pm; Sunday hours are noon to 5pm.

Brit + Co Holiday Shop: Open through Sunday, January 3rd. In true Brit + Co form, you'll be able to get it made, buy it made and make it yourself in this brick-and-mortar wonderland. Shop hundreds of best-selling products from small indie artisans and brands, have your gifts customized (i.e. embroidered beanies and stocking, and laser-cut ornaments) by local makers and designers, and take advantage of free daily DIY projects for kids and adults. The cherry on top? A free gift-wrap station. Get more info. The shop is located at 2120 Union Street.
