Three days ago, John Elliott sent over 30 looks down the runway for a star-studded audience including Kanye West, Nick Young, Victor Cruz, and J.R. Smith. There's a definite buzz for the young man who describes himself as "just a kid from the Northwest trying to do the best [he] can with the means [he's] got." And with a Nike collaboration that's all but confirmed to be on the horizon —plus more stores buying his menswear designs— it looks as though this hometown boy will soon earn a spot on the growing list of well-known designers from the Bay. Before everyone jumps on that bandwagon, snag a few pieces from his upcoming collection, which he basically made us in mind.
