Go to bed with a Savvy Sleepers satin pillowcase and wake up with smooth hair and not a single sleep line on your face. It sounds too good to be true. A pillowcase that keeps your hair perfectly coiffed through a night of tossing and turning and wild sleeping? (Which, by the way, is exactly how I get my shut eye.) But after a week of resting my head on this ultra soft case from the SF-based brand, my skepticism vanished.

Each morning since I started testing the pillowcase, I've been greeted with the same blow-dry style that I had when I went to bed. The few times that I only lightly towel-dried my locks, I woke with flat hair in the morning instead of my usual poof that won't settle without a dunk under water. The satin also prevents hair breakage and sleep lines.

At $36 per pillowcase, this is an item to stockpile—for yourself, your family, your travels, and as a gift for friends. (The case would make a perfect bridal party present: a bride can ensure her girls don't show up to the big day with bad hair and sleep lines.)

Although I've never actually used the hidden love-note pocket inside the case—nor can I speak to the pillowcase's ability to help hold a curl throughout the night—I can say that the case washes well and holds up to daily use. But the biggest draw remains the bedhead that it prevents. Give it a try to extend the life of your blowout and shave time off your morning styling routine. This is one beauty tool that lives up to the hype.
