Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Shop for good and add new meaning to the term "retail therapy" with the recently launched Union & Fifth. The ecommerce, nonprofit website —based in the Bay Area— curates a designer consignment store and donates all proceeds to the clothing donor's choice of charity. Sellers don't receive money, but their contributions are tax deductible.

Featured brands on Union & Fifth include some heavy hitters likes Chanel, Christian Louboutin, Balenciaga, and Lanvin. There are limited styles and sizes right now, but the incoming boxes—straight from Kelly Osbourne's closet and to support Race to Erase MS—will soon bolster the store's supplies. For February, the site is focusing on matters of the heart, both in terms of charities and red clothes and accessories. So look through those closets to send over your old red and shop for your new, just in time for Valentine's Day.
