Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Krystal Bick has championed a number of  Bay Area fashion businesses on her blog, This Time Tomorrow. She regularly wears clothes from The Real Real, she introduced the new luxury knitwear line Tempest + Bentley, she adores Freda Salvador, she shops at Elizabeth Charles and Jeremy's, and she modeled the lookbook for Bandra West. Between her blog, day job, and travel schedule, she has been an outstanding ambassador for San Francisco style. But soon, she will be moving on.

Bick announced on her blog yesterday that while she loves the Bay Area, she is trading SF for NYC in March. "I'm ready to start the next chapter," she writes. "I'm afraid, excited, doubtful and hopeful all at the same time— and it's reminding me that the unknown is something I shouldn't be fearful of. It should be a reminder of what it feels like to be alive."

Krystal isn't the first San Francisco blogger to leave the city —we lost Song of Style's Aimee Song and Sincerely, Jules's Julie Sariñana to Los Angeles and Atlantic-Pacific's Blair Eadie to New York— but we're still sad to see her go. At least we can keep following her outfits and insane vacation photography from across the country.
