The East Coast is recovering from New York Fashion Week, and Europe's multi-week fashion bonanza is underway, but these local events are bringing the fashion frenzy to your back yard.

FORT MASON—Autodesk is hosting Real 2015 this Thursday, February 26th, at Fort Mason Herbst Pavilion. From 2—9pm, visitors (21 years and older) will have the opportunity to interact with the latest technologies for reality computing while DJ Kimba and DJ Celeste Lear pump tunes in the background. In addition to drones and laser scanners, the event will feature work from acclaimed architect Pernilla Ohrstedt and the 3D printed gown from designer Francis Bitoni (made for Dita von Teese). Admission is $25 here, (and includes food and a drink), but expect to pay $40 at the door, credit card only.

SOMA—Meet and mingle with the local fashion tech community at Wednesday's Fabric at the W event. Hosted by SF FashTech, the mixer brings together those with a shared interest in fashion, technology, retail, and wearable tech from 5:30 to 11pm. Admission is free but RSVP here. This month's theme is menswear, so dress accordingly.

SAN FRANCISCO—San Francisco Fashion Week is here. Although there won't be the organized runway shows often associated with the various fashion weeks, it does feature events and discussions around fashion and tech. Take a look at what's happening this week, then pick and choose based on your personal interests.
