Local jewelry designer Melissa Joy Manning will be hanging at her Berkeley studio (1827 5th Street ) on Thursday, March 19th, to celebrate the launch of her new Petal collection, an appropriately spring-themed line just in time for the equinox. But if you want jewelry that no one else has this season, Manning will also be working with guests to design unique pieces during an open house that evening. That's right: the woman who every major magazine is swooning over right now will make something just for you.
The party lasts from 5–7pm at the studio. Arrive early to give yourself enough time to design and shop. Whether you choose a one-of-a-kind or a one-of-a-find, you can go home with a new favorite to carry you through the season.
