No more trekking to SoMa on the weekend for that full body session.

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Dragging yourself out of bed and across town to make it to your Saturday morning workout is a struggle, but life is about to get easier for Marina residents. Barry's Bootcamp is expanding with a bigger, badder location in the neighborhood.

Construction is slated to start in early May and the space could be open by late fall. The new outpost, on Lombard Street between Pierce and Steiner, will be one of the largest Barry's in the world at slightly over 6,000 square feet. It will include the amenities that the King Street original offers, plus larger locker rooms, indoor cafe seating for the smoothie bar, and a larger studio with room for more than 50 people.

Owner Adam Shane tells Racked, "This opportunity was truly 'one-of-a-kind' in terms of the size of the space, the generous layout, the high ceilings and the visibility along Lombard. It is a natural second location for us as we continue our strategic expansion plan throughout the Bay Area."

Barry's is known for hiring hotties —including our reigning Hottest Trainer Erica Stenz— so we can't wait to meet the ab-tastic team that will leading the masses at the new location.
