After a multi-month vacancy, the former African Outlet storefront in Hayes Valley has a new tenant. This spring, Flavour Shop will be opening at 524 Octavia Street, Hoodline reports. The store will be working with local farms and regional importers to stock gourmet food items "including rare spices, olive oil, balsamic vinegars, spreads, domestic and international cheeses, gourmet pasta selections, and more." Owners Mert Civan and Stephanie Valentino hope to have the 400-square-foot space ready for customers in late April or early May.
