Local beaching may require a few more layers than just swimwear, but you can piece together an outfit that goes straight from sand to date night with some help from Margaret O'Leary. The SF-based brand tried out its spring looks at Muir Beach, but they'd look just as chic on the foggy shores of Ocean Beach or Half Moon Bay. So plan a day escape after scooping up a few knitwear designs at one of the five local boutiques. Or, wait until April 15th when the Margaret O'Leary store opens in Palo Alto.
