Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Combine shopping for yourself (and your friends) with giving back to the community when you purchase items from For Goodness Sake. The SF-based ecommerce site launched last November, and it donates a minimum of 25% of net proceeds to its cause partners—that include San Francisco General Hospital, Giants Community Fund, and Glide. And best of all, the items in its store are actually things that you would buy, even without the "for a good cause" aspect.
For example, these cufflinks ($175), made from baseballs used in actual San Francisco Giants games, will easily become your Giants fan's favorites. And this ombre leash ($65) will certainly inspire you to take more walks with the dog. There are even more new items added for women, men, and home, just in time for spring gifting. So take a look around here (you can even shop by charity) or wait until the pop-up schedule is finalized in the coming weeks.
