Locals rejoiced when Saint Laurent returned to San Francisco's Union Square in 2013 after a four-year hiatus, but enthusiasm among the brand's female fans was tempered by the fact that the Geary Street outpost only carried men's apparel and accessories. That's all about to change.
If you've passed by Saint Laurent Paris at 108 Geary lately, you have may have noticed a rather conspicuous construction wall over the adjacent store front. A YSL staffer tells Racked that the store is expanding to include the adjoining space, and it will soon be one big, happy men's and women's store. The revamped boutique is slated to be ready in May, so —accounting for the customary San Francisco construction delay— we're betting on June or July.
