Now this is one bitchfest we can get behind.
Come with a pocketful of chicken jerky and a worn tennis ball, and you'll be instant model bait at this evening's Dogs on the Catwalk fashion show. Brought to you by the San Francisco SPCA and held at the Mission Campus Adoption Center (201 Alabama Street), tonight's event (5pm to 10pm) will also include a pre-show cocktail party with both human- and pet-friendly vegetarian food trucks, classic-rock music by the perfectly named Sit Kitty Sit—and of course, cat and dog adoptions (they're free!).
But don't get it twisted: the night's main attraction is the 7pm fashion show featuring both pooches and peeps. (Wonder who'll be sitting in the front row?) Watch the human models sashay down the runway in all-vegan looks by Claire Farwell London and Betabrand, with accessories by Jill Milan. Four-legged lookers—guaranteed to steal the show— will preen and pose in Scutte and Yap dogwear
The event is free but just RSVP here for your seat. Furry friends welcome.
