Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

MISSION—Get your groove on with some evening shopping tonight (7pm to 11pm) at the Kathryn McCarron Sample Sale/Trunk Show (744 Alabama Street, #216). There will be cocktails, steals (up to 70% off) and awesome knitwear—sumptuous sweaters to cool pants. Name doesn't ring a bell? More than likely you've seen the luxe, local label while browsing at Anthro, Neiman's or Dish in Hayes Valley.

MARINA—Pump it up during lunchtime today at 12:30pm with a free workout at the Crissy Field Center (1199 E Beach Street, in front of Beach Hut Cafe). In celebration of its new kick-ass class, Pilates ProWorks is hosting a matBox in the Park Pop-Up. Take an abbreviated (30-minute) version of the workout that combines kickboxing, Pilates and yoga. All you need to bring is a yoga mat—and a fierce attitude. RSVP here to hold your space.

TENDERLOIN/UNION SQUARE—For a different kind of pop-up, head to the CLIFT hotel (495 Geary Street), which is celebrating its 100th birthday. (Wow! She looks amazing for a centenarian.) Located in a room in the lobby, Harputs Own will be selling its complete Autumn/Winter 2015 women's collection, plus custom sizing, colors and fabrics are available for CLIFT guests. And guys, there are custom denim and jackets for your consuming pleasure. The shop is open daily through June (possibly longer) from 3pm to 9pm.
